Cookie & Device Storage Policy
A clear explanation of cookies and similar technologies that may support JCC Traffic Exchange.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files stored by a website. Similar technologies can include browser storage, session identifiers, pixels, and scripts that help a service remember a session or understand how a page is used.
2. Categories and purposes
- Essential and security technologies: support sign-in, session integrity, fraud prevention, and core service functions.
- Functionality technologies: may remember preferences or settings to make repeat visits easier.
- Analytics technologies: where enabled, help measure page use, reliability, traffic sources, and feature performance.
- Advertising and campaign measurement: where enabled, may help measure campaign delivery or performance. The use of third-party advertising technologies depends on the providers and features actually integrated into JCC.
3. Choices and consent
Where applicable law requires consent or a specific opt-out, JCC should present the required choice and respect it. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, and device settings may let you clear site data. Blocking essential storage can cause sign-in, security, or other features to fail. Browser controls alone may not stop every form of measurement or processing.
4. Third-party services
Some services used to host, secure, authenticate, communicate with members, screen websites, or process payments may set or access their own technologies. Those providers' practices are governed by their own notices. JCC's Privacy Policy explains the broader categories of information processing.
5. Retention and changes
Storage duration depends on the technology and purpose. Session technologies may end when a session closes; other items may remain until they expire or are removed. We will update this page when JCC's technology use materially changes.
